"Oh That I had the wings of a dove.
For then I would fly away and be at rest." Psalms 55:6
We believe that the final tribute to our loved ones should be as unique and memorable as the lives we seek to honor.
Customarily, a lone dove is released by a family member at the end of your loved one's service, followed by three additional doves or a flock of snow white doves. As they join together and circle above, an appropriate poem will be read while they begin their journey home. The poem will be framed and given to the family as a keepsake.
This visual symbolic release can offer great comfort to grieving family members and friends, as well as is a thoughtful and unique alternative to flowers.
Give us a call and we'll coordinate the release with the funeral home and family.
